UNSPSC 31111517 Zinc profile extrusions is a Commodity code representing fabricated metal building components that state and local governments procure for infrastructure maintenance, facility construction, and repair work. The code encompasses zinc-coated or zinc-alloy extruded profiles used in roofing, siding, drainage systems, weatherproofing, and structural applications where corrosion resistance and durability are required. State and local buyers under this code include county maintenance departments, municipal public works offices, school districts, transit authorities, and water utility districts, typically purchasing these materials as components within larger capital projects or ongoing facility preservation programs.

The source contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 31111517. Without posted solicitations, geographic concentration and representative recent activity cannot be characterized from current procurement data. Firms pursuing this code should monitor state purchasing portals, county public works bid systems, and school district construction notices for project RFPs and IFBs that incorporate zinc profile extrusions as line-item materials or specifications, particularly in jurisdictions with aging infrastructure replacement programs or active capital planning cycles.
