UNSPSC 31111501: Aluminum profile extrusions

UNSPSC 31111501 Aluminum profile extrusions is a Commodity code covering fabricated aluminum sections and structural components used in building frames, enclosures, and equipment assemblies by state and local agencies. State and local governments procure these extrusions for facility modernization, equipment installations, and infrastructure projects where lightweight structural aluminum is specified in engineering designs or system upgrades. School districts, county facilities management offices, transit authorities, and state departments of transportation represent the primary customer base, though usage spans municipal public works, water authorities, and special-purpose districts managing fleet maintenance facilities and utility infrastructure.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities under this code. Without posted RFPs, RFQs, or ITBs naming aluminum profile extrusions as a line item or primary deliverable, geographic distribution and representative solicitations cannot be characterized from active market activity. Firms tracking this code should monitor state contract aggregators and individual agency purchasing portals for infrastructure and facilities modernization cycles, as demand typically clusters around capital renewal projects rather than continuous procurement.
