UNSPSC 30263703: Steel alloy SAE 6000 series cold drawn bar

Cold drawn bar of various cross sections produced from SAE 6000 steel alloy

UNSPSC 30263703 Steel alloy SAE 6000 series cold drawn bar is a Commodity code that encompasses machined steel bar stock used in precision manufacturing and industrial applications. State and local procurement activity under this code is sparse; the recent opportunity record shows no relevant solicitations for steel alloy materials.

The Texas Workforce Commission opportunity tagged under this code (IW252223, posted June 24, 2026, due June 11, 2026) solicits IT infrastructure modernization and workforce management system implementation services — work plainly unrelated to steel alloy procurement. No recent state or local government solicitations for SAE 6000 series cold drawn bar appear in the available records, indicating limited current activity in this commodity family among state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, or other public bodies. Firms pursuing state and local contracts in this material should monitor regional manufacturing support programs and special-purpose district procurement channels, but near-term opportunity volume under this specific code does not support active business development focus.
