UNSPSC 30263500: Lead ingots strips billets and coil

Ingots, strips, billets and coil of various sizes produced from lead

UNSPSC 30263500 Lead ingots strips billets and coil, a Class code, shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The four most recent opportunities posted under this code — a painting and siding project in Madison, Wisconsin; underground utility locating services in Pasco County, Florida; law enforcement equipment through Sourcewell; and pool maintenance and repair services in Collier County, Florida — are unrelated to lead metal products and appear to reflect miscoding at the point of opportunity posting rather than genuine demand for lead ingots, strips, billets, or coil.

State and local procurement offices do not appear to be sourcing lead metal products under this code in the current market. If your firm supplies lead materials or finished-lead components to state and local buyers, verify the UNSPSC coding applied by issuing offices in relevant jurisdictions and file corrected coding feedback with procurement offices in states where you plan to pursue work. Monitor this code for reclassification or clarification by state procurement authorities, but treat it as currently inactive for business development purposes.
