UNSPSC 30171703: Beveled glass

UNSPSC 30171703 Beveled glass, a Commodity code, covers glass repair and replacement services procured by state and local education agencies on a time-and-materials basis. Cherokee County School District's recent RFP for glass repair and replacement services illustrates the scope: the District seeks qualified vendors to perform glass repair and replacement work as needed throughout its facilities, with the award potentially going to multiple proposers at the District's discretion. The work encompasses both repair of existing glass and full replacement, executed on a non-recurring, as-needed basis rather than under a standing maintenance contract with fixed service levels or response-time commitments.

The code shows limited recent activity in state and local procurement. A single RFP from Cherokee County School District, posted July 17, 2026 with proposals due July 30, 2026, represents the recent opportunity record available. No contract value, term length, performance locations, evaluation criteria, or incumbent information was disclosed in the solicitation. School districts are the primary issuing bodies under this code in the available data, though the single opportunity provides insufficient basis to characterize geographic concentration or broader issuing-body mix across state and local jurisdictions.
