UNSPSC 27113106: Slide hammer puller

A tool that attaches to an object needing to be pulled and transmits an impact force to the object without striking the object itself. Slide hammers typically consist of a long metal shaft with an attachment point at one end, a heavy weight that can slide along the shaft, and a stop for the weight to impact on the end opposite the attachment point.[

UNSPSC 27113106 Slide hammer puller is a Commodity code for hand-operated mechanical pullers used in automotive repair, equipment maintenance, and roadway infrastructure work. State and local governments procure slide hammer pullers primarily through maintenance and facilities departments at transportation agencies, public works departments, and school districts equipped with in-house automotive or heavy equipment repair shops. The tool is a standard component in fleet maintenance inventories and is typically acquired through competitive quotation processes targeting small quantities of hand tools and shop equipment.

The recent-opportunities block provided no procurement records for this code. The absence of recent state and local solicitation activity suggests either low procurement frequency — reflecting the commodity nature and long service life of mechanical hand tools — or limited visibility in centralized bid-notice databases. Pursuit should remain passive pending future RFQ or IFB activity from state DOTs, county maintenance departments, or transit authorities with active fleet repair programs.
