UNSPSC 27113004: Stretcher brushes

UNSPSC 27113004 Stretcher brushes, a Commodity code, shows minimal recent activity aligned with its nominal scope in state and local procurement. The code nominally describes brushes used in stretcher or canvas-handling contexts, but recent solicitations tagged under this code do not reflect that product category. The sole substantive recent opportunity is the City of Arlington, Texas's RFP for an annual requirements contract in concrete repair services—repairs, overlays, new installations, and polyurethane foam injection leveling for settled concrete pavement throughout its Parks, Recreation, & Culture Department. This concrete-repair scope bears no relation to stretcher brushes, indicating either a tagging error in the jurisdiction's sourcing system or a divergence between the code's intended scope and how Arlington's purchasing office has classified the work.

The code shows activity only in Texas jurisdictions in recent posting windows. Beyond Arlington's RFP (due August 20, 2026), a second Texas posting—a Williamson County Purchasing Department relocation notice dated July 14, 2026—carries no procurement scope and does not represent a contract opportunity. The mismatch between the code's product definition and the concrete-repair work Arlington is actually procuring suggests that business development professionals should verify coding accuracy before pursuing opportunities listed under this Commodity code, as the recent activity does not reflect the stretcher-brush category the code is intended to describe.
