UNSPSC 27112714: Power caulking guns

UNSPSC 27112714 Power caulking guns is a Commodity code that encompasses pneumatic and electric caulking application equipment used in building maintenance and repair work. State and local government procurement under this code focuses on equipment purchases for facility maintenance operations, particularly for exterior sealing and weatherproofing tasks at municipal buildings. Issuing bodies include city governments and county facilities management operations. The code sees activity from municipalities of varying sizes managing their own building stock, though recent opportunities are limited in the available data.

The City of Norwalk, Connecticut posted an ITB for exterior window and door caulking repairs at the Norwalk Police Headquarters with a response deadline of August 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Addenda were issued on July 28, 2026 (Addenda 1 and 2) and August 6, 2026 (Addendum 3); detailed specifications are available through the Bonfire Hub platform. Questions were accepted from July 21, 2026 at 3:15 p.m. EDT through August 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Procurement contact is Carleen Megaro at 203-854-7712 or cmegaro@norwalkct.gov. The code shows minimal recent activity across the available records; a janitorial supply ITB from Hillsborough County that referenced the code does not reflect the actual scope of power caulking equipment procurement.
