UNSPSC 27112706: Power planes

UNSPSC 27112706 Power planes, a Commodity code, is bought by state and local governments through cooperative purchasing vehicles primarily for law enforcement equipment procurement. The recent solicitation activity under this code shows that state and local buyers are seeking established contracting solutions that consolidate law enforcement equipment supply across multiple jurisdictions and entity types, with the specific equipment falling under the "power planes" commodity classification within the broader law enforcement procurement framework. This suggests the code captures motorized equipment or tools used in law enforcement operations, procured through streamlined cooperative agreements rather than individual agency purchases.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026, responding due June 16, 2026, establishing a multi-jurisdictional contracting vehicle for law enforcement equipment available to participating entities across Washington state (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties among named participants) and throughout the United States and Canada. The RFP structure allows the resulting contract to serve thousands of governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and other public entities through Sourcewell's framework agreement. Vendors must submit proposals through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal at https://proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov by 3:30 p.m. Central Time; no set-aside designations, award values, or budget ranges are disclosed in available documentation. Questions should be directed to Mari Vielma at rfp@sourcewell-mn.gov or 888-894-1930.
