UNSPSC 27112232: Groover

A hand tool used in making grooves or shallow scales on cement walls or concrete surfaces prior to curing in order to adjust the location of occurrence of crack or to make shape.

UNSPSC 27112232 Groover, a Commodity code, shows no meaningful recent activity in state and local procurement. The code's nominal scope—groove-cutting equipment for pavement or flooring preparation—does not align with the six recent opportunities posted in the surrounding dataset. Those solicitations instead cover janitorial supplies, concrete sidewalk replacement, bridge replacement, ready-mix concrete delivery, pedestrian improvements, and a concrete saw procurement. The groover code itself generated no identified state and local RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB opportunities in the recent-opportunities block, and the few tangentially related concrete-work solicitations (Gay Braxton Apartments sidewalk, Orange County bridge replacements, City of Fairburn pedestrian improvements) are tagged to their respective construction or infrastructure codes, not to groove-cutting equipment.

Without posted solicitations under this code, skip or watch the code depending on your firm's existing relationships with highway departments or public works divisions that might purchase grooving equipment outside formal notice cycles. If your development strategy relies on market intelligence from posted RFPs and RFQs, this code presents no current pursuit opportunity.
