UNSPSC 27112120: C clamps

UNSPSC 27112120 C clamps (Commodity) encompasses clamping devices and fastening hardware that state and local governments procure for maintenance, repair, and operational support across water treatment, fire rescue, and general facilities management. Recent solicitations show this code capturing a broad range of hand tools and hardware — not just clamps — including pry bars, brooms, brushes, buckets, hammers, wrenches, saws, screwdrivers, and shovels used in day-to-day county operations. The issuing bodies are primarily county commissioners and municipal water authorities. Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners has posted multiple opportunities under or near this code in recent months, sourcing consumable supplies for fire rescue operations and ongoing hand-tool needs across county departments.

Activity centers in Florida, specifically in the Tampa Bay region. Representative recent opportunities include Hillsborough County's ITB-26-00285 for hand tools (52 line items, estimated contract value of $715,540.41 over five years, bids due June 23, 2026), Hillsborough County's ITB-26-00319 for janitorial and operational supplies supporting 47 fire stations (estimated $765,679.84 for one year, bids due July 24, 2026), and the City of Tampa's single-source Intent to procure Flexim Clamps for the David L. Tippin Water Treatment Facility (response deadline April 1, 2026). The Hillsborough County opportunities are available to members of the Hillsborough County Governmental Purchasing Council under cooperative purchasing terms.
