UNSPSC 27111721: Cranks

UNSPSC 27111721 Cranks is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure hand tools, including pry bars, brooms, brushes, buckets, abrasive rolls, hammers, wrenches, saws, screwdrivers, and shovels. The recent activity under this code reflects procurement of general-purpose hand tools for operational use across county departments and facilities, rather than specialized cranks or rotational mechanisms. County governments are the primary issuing body under this code, soliciting through competitive sealed bids for ongoing, as-needed supply arrangements with five-year terms and firm brand-name specifications.

Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners posted ITB2600285 on June 2, 2026, requesting bids on 52 line items of hand tools with responses due June 23, 2026. The estimated contract value is $715,540.41 over five years, with delivery required within five business days to multiple county warehouse locations. The County reserves the right to contract with other vendors for similar goods and may terminate for convenience with 24 hours' notice. Award will be made to the single lowest responsive and responsible bidder; no minimum purchase is guaranteed. Pricing must be free-on-board to delivery locations, with annual adjustments permitted based on CPI-U. Bidders must submit E-Verify compliance documentation, a Substitute W-9 Form, Drug Free Workplace Certification, and Direct Deposit Authorization as part of the bid package, with submission required through the County's Euna Procurement system. The contract may be utilized by members of the Hillsborough County Governmental Purchasing Council under the same terms and conditions.
