UNSPSC 27111605: Picks

UNSPSC 27111605 Picks is a Commodity code for hand tools and implements used in maintenance and cleaning operations. State and local governments procure picks under this code as part of broader janitorial, operational, and facilities-maintenance supply contracts. The issuing bodies include county governments and special-purpose districts purchasing on behalf of public safety, public works, and facilities-management departments. Picks are typically bundled with other consumable hand tools and supplies — brooms, shovels, rakes, and similar items — rather than solicited as standalone line items.

Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners posted ITB2600319 on July 7, 2026, requesting competitive sealed bids for consumable janitorial and operational supplies on an as-needed basis for the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Department, with bids due July 24, 2026. The estimated contract value is $765,679.84 for a one-year period with no renewal options specified. All products must be new, unused, and in original packaging; bidders must be authorized distributors capable of providing backorder and recall information. Standard delivery must occur within ten days of purchase order receipt, with emergency delivery within five business days, coordinated with the County Project Manager at the Public Safety Operations Complex in Tampa, Florida. The contract may be shared with members of the Hillsborough County Governmental Purchasing Council under the same terms and conditions. No minimum purchase quantities are guaranteed, and the County reserves the right to award by line item, group, section, or overall total net bid price.
