UNSPSC 26141911: Isotope calibrator activity meters

UNSPSC 26141911 Isotope calibrator activity meters, a Commodity code, addresses specialized radiological calibration and measurement equipment used by state and local health departments, environmental agencies, and university research facilities to validate and maintain isotope detection and counting systems. State and local governments procure these instruments to ensure compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards, support diagnostic imaging quality assurance programs, and maintain laboratory accreditation in medical physics and health physics operations. The code covers standalone calibrator units, software-enabled measurement systems, and associated quality-control devices that measure and verify the activity of radioactive sources used in clinical, research, and regulatory contexts.

The source provides no recent state and local contract opportunities under this Commodity code. Isotope calibrator activity meters represent a narrow, specialized procurement category with limited visibility in typical state and local solicitation streams; purchasing is typically driven by equipment-replacement cycles at established medical centers, nuclear medicine departments, and state radiological health bureaus rather than by recurring or high-volume contracting activity.
