UNSPSC 25202601: Aircraft environment controllers

UNSPSC 25202601 Aircraft environment controllers, a Commodity code, addresses heating, cooling, and air-quality management systems for aircraft cabins and cargo holds. State and local governments procure these controllers primarily through transit authorities and municipal airports that operate or maintain regional and commercial air fleets, though activity under this code is sparse in recent state and local procurement records. The systems regulate cabin pressure, temperature, and humidity during flight and on the ground, and may include integrated controls for de-icing and ventilation. Buyers typically seek controllers that meet federal aviation standards and integrate with existing aircraft management systems, often as part of aircraft maintenance, upgrade, or fleet-acquisition projects.

The source provides no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code, indicating minimal procurement activity under UNSPSC 25202601 at the state, county, municipal, or transit-authority level during the current market window. This code sees concentrated demand only at the largest metropolitan transit authorities and state-operated airport systems, which solicit such equipment infrequently and often bundle procurement with broader aircraft-service or maintenance contracts under different UNSPSC families.
