UNSPSC 25174104: Removable soft roof tops

UNSPSC 25174104 Removable soft roof tops is a Commodity code that covers retractable fabric canopy systems and convertible soft-top structures for vehicles. State and local procurement activity under this code is minimal and does not align with recent solicitations posted. The most recent opportunities tagged to this code involve vehicle up-fit services (warning lights, ballistic protection, vehicle modifications), fleet inventory management, specialized transit vehicle procurement, and automotive repair parts supply — none of which constitutes removable soft roof top procurement in the traditional sense. A single relocation notice from Williamson County Purchasing Department in Texas was posted in July 2026 but contains no procurement scope. The code shows no meaningful recent state and local contracting activity for its stated commodity.

Geographic activity and representative opportunities cannot be reliably characterized from the available records. The source contains no solicitations that represent actual demand for removable soft roof tops from state, county, municipal, school district, or transit authority buyers. Interested vendors should monitor state and local procurement portals directly rather than rely on this code as an indicator of current market opportunity. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the work being procured suggests either systematic misclassification by issuing bodies or minimal current demand for this specific product category at the state and local level.
