UNSPSC 25173124: Direction finding equipment accessories

Direction finding (DF), or radio direction finding (RDF), is in accordance with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) defined as radio location that uses the reception of radio waves to determine the direction in which a radio station or an object is located. This can refer to radio or other forms of wireless communication, including radar signals detection and monitoring (ELINT/ESM).

UNSPSC 25173124 Direction finding equipment accessories, a Commodity code, sees sparse recent activity in state and local procurement. The only substantive opportunities tagged to this code in the recent-opportunities block are unrelated: wastewater inventory panels and switches, lighting retrofit fixtures, water laboratory testing, microbial source tracking assays, SCADA system upgrades, and other goods and services that do not match the code's nominal scope of direction-finding equipment accessories. The code shows no relevant recent solicitations from state agencies, counties, municipalities, school districts, transit authorities, or other state and local issuing bodies. Absent decision-relevant market activity under this code, business development professionals should treat this category as inactive in the current state and local procurement landscape and allocate pursuit effort to codes with demonstrated transactional volume.

Do not pursue based on this code at present.
