UNSPSC 25111929: Sheet bags

UNSPSC 25111929 Sheet bags is a Commodity code covering flat or envelope-style bags typically used in packaging, storage, and material handling across state and local operations. State and local governments procure sheet bags for departmental supplies, maintenance operations, waste management, and general-purpose storage needs. The issuing bodies include state departments of transportation, general services, and facilities management; county maintenance and supply operations; municipal public works and parks departments; and school districts managing custodial and grounds-keeping supplies. Sheet bags appear in both standalone procurement notices and as line items within broader supply contracts or cooperative purchasing agreements.

The source contains no specific recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code, making it difficult to characterize current geographic concentration or representative active solicitations. The absence of posted notices does not indicate zero demand — sheet bags are commodity consumables that many jurisdictions procure through standing supply agreements, GSA schedules, or cooperative purchasing vehicles rather than individual notices — but the code shows limited visible recent activity in public solicitation databases. Business development professionals evaluating this Commodity should monitor cooperative purchasing organizations and standing-supply contract vehicles in their target states, as procurement under this code often flows through those channels rather than through standalone RFP or ITB notices.
