UNSPSC 25111922: Mooring whips

UNSPSC 25111922 Mooring whips is a Commodity code that shows minimal recent state and local procurement activity. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code do not reflect the purchase of mooring whips or marine mooring equipment. The Atlanta Beltline, Inc. opportunity (ITB DC2026123, due September 29, 2026) solicits construction services for a multiuse trail in Fulton County, Georgia — involving demolition, grading, paving, drainage, and site furnishings unrelated to marine mooring. The Sourcewell cooperative procurement (RFP 061626, due June 16, 2026) targets law enforcement equipment for participating public entities across Washington state, Minnesota, and beyond, again bearing no connection to mooring whips or marine infrastructure. The code appears to be misapplied to these opportunities.

State and local procurement under UNSPSC 25111922 does not surface in the recent solicitation record. If mooring whips are being procured by state or local marine agencies, ports, or waterfront authorities, those opportunities are not appearing in current notice feeds under this code. Vendors in marine mooring equipment should verify whether state and local buyers are tagging their procurement correctly or whether activity in this commodity is sparse or routed through different codes, cooperative agreements, or direct purchase channels outside the formal notice system.
