UNSPSC 25111714: Utility landing watercraft

UNSPSC 25111714 Utility landing watercraft, a Commodity code, covers small military and emergency-response vessels designed for beach or riverine operations, including landing craft, assault boats, and amphibious personnel transporters. State and local governments rarely solicit these assets directly; activity under this code is minimal and concentrated in specialized maritime agencies, port authorities, and emergency management departments that operate coastal or inland waterway response capabilities. When procurement does occur, it typically addresses replacement or augmentation of existing fleets for disaster response, water rescue, or amphibious training operations.

The source contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged under this code, making it difficult to characterize current issuing-body patterns, geographic concentration, or representative solicitations. The code appears to see limited regular demand in the state and local market, suggesting that acquisition occurs episodically and outside routine procurement cycles. Business development professionals should monitor specialized maritime and emergency-response procurement channels and maintain relationships with state emergency management agencies and coastal port authorities in states with active waterway rescue or amphibious operations programs, such as California, Florida, and the Great Lakes region, where such assets are most likely to be solicited.
