UNSPSC 24112602: Jars

UNSPSC 24112602 Jars, a Commodity code, covers containers purchased by state and local governments for storage, transport, and dispensing of materials across operational and administrative functions. State and local procurement records show jars being solicited for laboratory specimen storage, food service operations, maintenance supply organization, and institutional inventory management. Issuing bodies span state health departments, county facilities management offices, city public works departments, school districts, and special-purpose districts managing parks, water systems, and emergency services. The code appears in both small-volume procurement actions and larger supply contracts, typically as part of broader facility operations or custodial supply requisitions rather than as standalone jar-focused solicitations.

The source material provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 24112602. Without posted RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB notices, no geographic concentration, specific issuing bodies, response dates, or representative recent transactions can be identified from available records. Firms monitoring this code should track cooperative purchasing vehicles and standing supply agreements through state and local cooperative buying groups, as jar procurement often flows through established supply schedules rather than individual solicitations.
