UNSPSC 24112005: Metallic baskets

UNSPSC 24112005 Metallic baskets is a Commodity code that describes metal storage and organizational containers used in facility maintenance and operations contexts. State and local governments procure metallic baskets as part of broader parts and supplies inventories supporting building systems, equipment organization, and maintenance workflows. The issuing bodies sourcing under this code include county facilities and project management departments responsible for maintaining county infrastructure and buildings.

San Bernardino County Project & Facilities Management issued ITB 6391 for parts and supplies on May 18, 2026, with responses due June 19, 2026, encompassing over 500 line items across multiple categories including building materials, tools, and related facility maintenance supplies. The procurement required bidders to quote a minimum of 20 items from the provided list on an F.O.B. destination basis with separate freight pricing, with a tentative contract start date of July 1, 2026 and Net 60 payment terms. The county applied a 5 percent local vendor preference for businesses with principal places of business within San Bernardino County boundaries and reserved the right to award to the responsive, responsible bidder offering best value. Recent activity under this code is limited; the Williamson County Purchasing Department notice posted July 14, 2026 constitutes an administrative relocation announcement only and does not represent a procurement opportunity.
