UNSPSC 24101631: Suction cups

UNSPSC 24101631 Suction cups (Commodity) does not align with recent state and local contract opportunities posted under this code. The indexed opportunities span bridge replacement and repair, pedestrian bridge construction, crane and rigging services, overhead crane inspection, and rooftop crane design—none of which involve suction cups or related vacuum-lifting hardware. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the procurement system or that suction cups as a standalone commodity see minimal recent state and local activity, making this code unreliable for market intelligence based on current solicitation data.

No representative recent opportunities for suction cups themselves appear in the available records. The underlying opportunities—Orange County, Florida bridge replacements (IFB, July 7, 2026); Sarasota County pedestrian bridge construction (IFB, July 20, 2026); City of Palm Bay / Brevard County roadway and bridge project (ITB, August 4, 2026); Orange County Transportation Authority crane and rigging services (RFQ, December 9, 2025); and others—are properly classified under infrastructure and heavy equipment services, not consumable hardware. Unless state and local procurement offices begin systematically tagging suction-cup orders under this code, activity tracking and opportunity forecasting under 24101631 will remain uninformative for business development.
