UNSPSC 23242601: Beveling machine

A machine used for producing bevels. A bevel is a slant or angle on a surface. Two adjoining surfaces, if not at right angles are beveled. Bevel also has many industry-specific uses.

UNSPSC 23242601 Beveling machine (Commodity) does not align with recent state and local procurement activity posted under this code. The two opportunities posted in the recent-opportunities record—a cooperative law enforcement equipment RFP issued by Sourcewell on behalf of multiple Washington and other state jurisdictions, and a University of Wisconsin Stevens Point bid for paper machine stock tank upgrades—contain no reference to beveling machines or beveling work. The code shows little relevant recent activity, and the mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual solicitations suggests either a tagging error in the source data or dormant procurement volume under this Commodity designation in the state and local market.

No representative beveling machine opportunities are supported by the source record, and the issuing-body mix and geographic spread cannot be reliably characterized from these unrelated solicitations. Business development professionals evaluating this code should verify whether state and local procurement offices are actively using 23242601 for beveling equipment acquisitions or whether related work is being tagged to adjacent UNSPSC codes within the machine-tool or fabrication-equipment family.
