UNSPSC 23232201: Glue nozzle

UNSPSC 23232201 Glue nozzle is a Commodity code that sees minimal recent activity in state and local procurement aligned with its nominal scope. The three most recent opportunities tagged under this code—concrete sealant services, fusion tape, and law enforcement equipment—do not represent glue nozzles or closely related adhesive-application products. The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) IFB 250318, posted October 7, 2026, solicits concrete sealant services (spray, roller, and brush application of sealants to large concrete surfaces across transportation facilities) rather than nozzle hardware; Dallas County, Texas IFB 2100758, posted August 28, 2026, requests fusion tape by specification; and Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, covers law enforcement equipment broadly—none of which reflects demand for adhesive-application nozzles. The code shows no clear recent state and local procurement signal for the product category it names.

Given the absence of relevant recent opportunities under this code, it does not warrant active pursuit at this time. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being tagged suggests either misclassification in source records or minimal real-world procurement volume for glue nozzles through state and local channels. Firms evaluating entry into this code should monitor future UNSPSC assignments and consider whether the product is typically sourced through broader supply or MRO categories rather than as a standalone commodity in state and local markets.
