UNSPSC 23153802: Electrical coil winding machine

Machines used for winding electric coils

UNSPSC 23153802 Electrical coil winding machine is a Commodity code that shows minimal alignment with recent state and local procurement activity. The two opportunities tagged under this code involve law enforcement equipment procurement through a cooperative purchasing vehicle and paper machine stock tank upgrades—neither of which involves electrical coil winding machinery as a primary or subordinate procurement item. The law enforcement equipment RFP from Sourcewell does not specify coil winding equipment in its scope, and the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point's stock tank upgrade solicitation focuses on false bottoms and automatic drain valves. State and local buyers do not appear to be actively procuring electrical coil winding machines under this code at present.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026, with responses due June 16, 2026, to establish a law enforcement equipment contracting framework for use by participating entities across Washington state (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties) and numerous jurisdictions nationwide. The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point issued IFB 2026-STPALL-01275-RFB on March 19, 2026, with a mandatory pre-bid site visit on March 26, 2026, and a bid deadline of April 16, 2026, for stock tank upgrades to its pilot paper machine laboratory. Neither solicitation represents a viable market signal for electrical coil winding equipment vendors under this code.
