UNSPSC 23140000: Leatherworking repairing machinery and equipment

UNSPSC 23140000 Leatherworking repairing machinery and equipment (Family) shows no relevant recent activity among state and local government procurement. The recent opportunities posted under this code—including maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies for the City of Tucson; aquatic center operations for the City of Palm Bay; on-call technical services for the City of Owensboro, Kentucky; hand tools procurement for Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners; and workforce development services for Solano County—bear no connection to leatherworking, leather-repair equipment, or leather-industry machinery. These solicitations represent general facility maintenance, facility operations, facilities and grounds services, janitorial supplies, and workforce programs. The code's nominal scope does not align with the work actually being bought under it in current state and local procurement.

State and local procurement activity under this Family code does not support a pursue decision at this time. The mismatch between the code's taxonomy name and the recent opportunities tagged to it suggests a classification or data-integrity issue rather than genuine demand for leatherworking-related goods or services among the jurisdictions posting opportunities.
