UNSPSC 20142710: Hanger bar assembly

Pumping unit parts in oilwell production process

UNSPSC 20142710 Hanger bar assembly, a Commodity code, shows minimal recent activity under its nominal scope. The two most recent state and local solicitations tagged with this code involve EPA-certified refrigerant reclamation services and law enforcement equipment procurement — neither directly related to hanger bar assemblies. The refrigerant extraction work solicited by the City of Tucson requires EPA certification, technician credentials, and detailed gas-recovery documentation; the Sourcewell cooperative procurement covers law enforcement equipment across multiple jurisdictions. Neither opportunity aligns with the code's stated product line.

Recent activity under this code appears concentrated in Arizona and across the Sourcewell cooperative's participating entities in Washington state and beyond, but the mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual solicitations makes geographic or issuing-body characterization unreliable. The City of Tucson's RFP No. 240011 (response due September 19, 2024) and Sourcewell's RFP #061626 (response due June 16, 2026) represent the only recent opportunities recorded against this code. State and local procurement teams using UNSPSC 20142710 may be experiencing classification drift; firms pursuing hanger bar assembly contracts should verify code alignment in individual RFPs rather than relying on this code's recent history.
