UNSPSC 20141012: Casing head housing

UNSPSC 20141012 Casing head housing is a Commodity code with minimal recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities tagged with this code do not reflect purchases of casing head housing or related oil and gas equipment. Sourcewell, a Minnesota cooperative purchasing vehicle, solicited law enforcement equipment (RFP #061626, due June 16, 2026) for use across participating state and local entities, counties, school districts, and other public bodies in multiple states and Canada. The City of Scottsdale issued an RFP (26RFP044, due April 10, 2026) for a nonprofit subrecipient to administer a tenant-based rental assistance program for McKinney-Vento eligible families. Neither opportunity involves casing head housings or equipment related to the nominal scope of this code.

The code shows no demonstrated recent state and local procurement demand for casing head housings in the available record. The tagging appears to be a classification mismatch rather than genuine activity under the code's intended scope. A business development professional evaluating this code should treat it as inactive for state and local work and focus scanning efforts elsewhere, or confirm directly with specific jurisdictions whether they have unpublished or upcoming procurement for oil and gas equipment under this code.
