UNSPSC 20131105: Resin coated sintered bauxites

UNSPSC 20131105 Resin coated sintered bauxites (Commodity) shows minimal relevant activity in recent state and local procurement. The single posted opportunity under this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626, due June 16, 2026—is for law enforcement equipment and bears no relationship to resin coated sintered bauxites, which are specialized abrasive or refractory materials typically used in industrial grinding, polishing, or high-temperature applications. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual solicitation signals either a cataloging error by the issuing body or a structural misalignment in how this opportunity was tagged within the state and local procurement system.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative, issued the law enforcement equipment RFP on behalf of participating entities including Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties in Washington and numerous other jurisdictions across the United States and Canada. The cooperative procurement structure allows selected vendors to supply law enforcement equipment to thousands of governmental agencies, higher education institutions, school districts, nonprofits, and tribal governments through a framework agreement. Absent recent opportunities that genuinely reflect procurement for resin coated sintered bauxites at the state and local level, this code presents limited visibility into actual buying patterns or market activity in this commodity category.
