UNSPSC 20131103: Resin coated ceramic proppants

UNSPSC 20131103 Resin coated ceramic proppants is a Commodity code with no recent state and local procurement activity aligned to its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity tagged under this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026—solicits law enforcement equipment on behalf of a multi-state cooperative purchasing vehicle, not proppants or drilling-related products. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, is establishing a contracting solution for law enforcement equipment available to participating governmental agencies, school districts, and other public entities across the United States and Canada, including Franklin County, Grant County, Grays Harbor County, Chelan County, and Yakima County in Washington state. The mismatch between the code's technical name and the actual procurement scope suggests either a cataloging error in how the opportunity was indexed or a fundamental misalignment between the code classification and what state and local procurement offices are using it to track. Vendors evaluating this code should treat the apparent absence of relevant activity as a signal to verify current demand before investing in pursuit capability.
