UNSPSC 20121509: Gauge rings

UNSPSC 20121509 Gauge rings (Commodity) covers precision measurement instruments and inspection tools that state and local governments procure for law enforcement, public safety, and technical operations. The recent activity under this code reflects broader law enforcement equipment sourcing rather than gauge rings narrowly — a mismatch suggesting limited commodity-specific state and local procurement volume at present. The issuing bodies soliciting under related law enforcement equipment frameworks include state-designated cooperative purchasing vehicles, counties, and special-purpose public entities operating across multiple jurisdictions.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, posted RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026, seeking law enforcement equipment available to participating entities across Washington state (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties) and participating jurisdictions nationwide. The cooperative purchasing structure targets thousands of governmental agencies, K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and tribal governments. The solicitation provided no specific award value, set-aside designations, or commodity breakdowns in available documentation; vendors must access full solicitation materials and submit responses through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal at https://proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov with questions directed to rfp@sourcewell-mn.gov or 888-894-1930.
