UNSPSC 20121204: Fracturing density sensors

UNSPSC 20121204 Fracturing density sensors (Commodity) covers specialized instrumentation and measurement devices, though state and local procurement activity under this code is sparse and does not align with its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity posted under this code is Pinellas County Utilities' ITQ 26-0647, soliciting mixer parts and accessories rather than fracturing density sensors or related downhole measurement equipment. This mismatch suggests the code may be incorrectly tagged in the procurement system, or state and local buyers are not actively acquiring true fracturing density sensors through public solicitation.

Pinellas County Utilities' June 2026 ITQ for mixer parts indicates a potential sole-source or limited-competition procurement tied to an existing blanket purchase agreement (BPA 457764 from 2022) with a compressed six-day proposal window ending June 30, 2026. Place of performance spans Pinellas County and Clewiston City, Florida. No other state or local fracturing density sensor opportunities have posted recently, and the geographic footprint is limited to Florida. The code shows little active state and local procurement demand and does not reflect substantive buying patterns in equipment inspection, measurement, or downhole sensor technologies among state agencies, counties, municipalities, or utilities.
