UNSPSC 13111305: Neoprene foam

UNSPSC 13111305 Neoprene foam, a Commodity code, names a resilient closed-cell synthetic rubber material that state and local governments procure primarily for insulation, gasket manufacture, weatherstripping, and vibration dampening in building maintenance, fleet operations, and infrastructure repair. The code spans a narrow product line — sheets, rolls, and fabricated neoprene foam components — rather than a broad service family, and appears in state and local solicitations when agencies need durable, temperature-resistant foam stock for in-house fabrication or direct application to facilities and equipment.

The most-recent-state-local-contract-opportunities block contains no entries for this code. State and local procurement activity under UNSPSC 13111305 is not currently visible in the available opportunities dataset, making it difficult to characterize issuing-body concentration, geographic distribution, or recent competitive dynamics. Firms tracking this Commodity should monitor state materials suppliers, facilities maintenance RFQs, and fleet-support solicitations in coming months, as demand for neoprene foam typically tracks facility renovation cycles and weather-related weatherproofing initiatives across county public works, municipal maintenance shops, school districts, and transit maintenance facilities.
