UNSPSC 13111303: Silicone foam

UNSPSC 13111303 Silicone foam, a Commodity code, covers the procurement of silicone foam products by state and local governments for use in insulation, sealing, gasket applications, and related protective or thermal purposes. The code sees sporadic solicitation activity across state departments, municipalities, and special-purpose districts, typically as a component or consumable in broader facility maintenance, equipment protection, or construction-related work rather than as a standalone commodity. Issuing bodies treat silicone foam as a specification-driven purchase, often bundled with other materials in RFQs or line-item additions to maintenance and repair contracts rather than issued as primary procurement notices.

The source material contains no recent state or local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 13111303. Without posted solicitations, no issuing-body concentration, geographic spread, or representative recent activity can be characterized from current market data. Firms pursuing this Commodity should monitor cooperative purchasing catalogs and state blanket-contract schedules for standing silicone foam line items, and track facility maintenance and capital repair RFPs issued by state facilities departments and county public works offices, where silicone foam specifications commonly appear as required materials.
