UNSPSC 13101725: Ethylene propylene diene EPDM

EPDM is a terpolymer having special properties of Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR).

UNSPSC 13101725 Ethylene propylene diene EPDM is a Commodity code covering the procurement of EPDM rubber material by state and local agencies. State and local governments source EPDM primarily for roofing membranes, gasket and sealing applications, weatherstripping, and pond or water-containment liners — uses driven by durability requirements in outdoor exposure and the material's resistance to ozone, UV, and temperature extremes. Roofing applications dominate purchasing across the public sector, particularly for school district facilities, municipal buildings, and county infrastructure projects where single-ply membrane systems are standard. Purchases typically occur through facilities departments, grounds maintenance operations, and capital improvement project procurement offices at the state, county, and municipal levels.

The source material provides no recent state or local contract opportunities under this code. Without posted solicitations, current market characterization by geography or issuing-body type cannot be determined from available information.
