UNSPSC 11162304: Patent leather

UNSPSC 11162304 Patent leather, a Commodity-tier code, shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The six most-recent opportunities posted under this code are a Tucson MRO supplies master agreement (RFP), a Palm Bay aquatic center operational partnership request, an Owensboro on-call technical services contract, a Williamson County purchasing department relocation notice, a Marion County reverse trade show networking event, and a Hillsborough County hand tools ITB — none of which involve patent leather goods or footwear. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual solicitations suggests either systematic miscoding by issuing bodies or that patent leather procurement is not being actively tagged under this code in the state and local market right now.

Patent leather as a distinct commodity does not appear in the recent opportunities block. If your firm supplies patent leather products or components to state and local agencies — whether for uniforms, equipment, or other applications — monitor this code for activity changes, but do not expect volume from the current posting cycle. The code may be reserved for future use or assigned inconsistently across jurisdictions; direct outreach to state procurement offices in regions where your customer base operates may be more productive than tracking this UNSPSC line alone.
