UNSPSC 11131502: Furs

UNSPSC 11131502 Furs is a Commodity code that shows minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity posted under this code—Klein Independent School District's RFP #26-101 for Career Technical Education and Advanced Academics instructional resources—bears no substantive connection to fur procurement; the opportunity seeks educational materials, equipment, software, and services across 17 CTE program areas including welding, information technology, health sciences, and agricultural science, along with Advanced Placement and dual-credit resources. The mismatch suggests either a coding error in the Klein ISD posting or that this Commodity code does not reflect active state and local purchasing patterns for actual fur products and materials.

No recent state and local solicitations specifically targeting fur procurement, fur garments, fur accessories, or fur-related products appear in the available opportunities. The Klein ISD posting from April 2026 remains the sole reference and is not germane to the code's intended scope. Business development activity under UNSPSC 11131502 should be considered minimal absent evidence of active demand from state agencies, county procurement offices, municipalities, school districts, or other state and local bodies for fur-based goods or services.
