UNSPSC 11121701: Saw dust

UNSPSC 11121701 Saw dust, a Commodity code, shows no relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The single recorded opportunity tagged under this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626 for law enforcement equipment, posted May 12, 2026 with a June 16, 2026 response date—concerns tactical and protective gear for public safety agencies and bears no relationship to saw dust or wood byproduct procurement. The mismatch suggests either a classification error in the source record or opportunistic code assignment by the posting entity; state and local governments do purchase saw dust for landscaping, animal bedding, industrial applications, and facility maintenance, but this code does not currently reflect that activity in recent solicitations tracked in public notice systems.

Without representative recent opportunities under 11121701, no issuing-body pattern, geographic concentration, or market activity can be characterized for this code at this time. Firms pursuing saw dust supply should monitor relevant state and local procurement channels for IFB and RFQ notices from facilities management offices, public works departments, school districts, and animal care facilities, but the code itself does not currently signal active procurement demand in the state and local market.
