UNSPSC 11121605: Rattan

UNSPSC 11121605 Rattan is a Commodity code. State and local governments use this code to procure rattan—a woven natural material used in furniture, fixtures, and decorative components—for facilities, outdoor spaces, and institutional settings. However, the recent state and local procurement activity indexed under this code shows a significant mismatch: the single recent opportunity on record is DeKalb County's ITB 2026-076-ITB for reconstruction of the DeKalb Tennis Center, which solicits IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation (conduit, cabling, raceways, terminations, and device coordination) for a pro shop building in Decatur, Georgia. That work bears no relationship to rattan procurement. The code shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal scope.

The geographic and issuing-body picture is similarly sparse. DeKalb County, Georgia is the only recent issuing body visible in the opportunity record, and the single posted opportunity—due July 13, 2026—is unrelated to the code's stated commodity. No representative rattan procurement solicitations appear in the recent state and local opportunities block, making it difficult to characterize current demand patterns, the mix of jurisdictions buying rattan, or the states where the code sees active use. Business development professionals should treat this code as dormant or mistagged in current state and local procurement systems and monitor for clarification or retagging.
