UNSPSC 11111603: Ecaussine or alabaster

UNSPSC 11111603 Ecaussine or alabaster, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity directly aligned with the code's scope. The three most recent opportunities tagged under this code include a Williamson County, Texas purchasing-department relocation notice (which GovTribe's own summary explicitly flags as containing no procurement scope or contract opportunity), a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing RFP for law enforcement equipment across multiple Washington state counties and participating entities nationwide, and a City of Folkston, Georgia IFB for construction of a public toilet facility designed to resemble a train caboose. None of these solicitations involve ecaussine or alabaster stone products or materials, indicating a systematic mismatch between the code assignment and the actual work being bought.

The code appears inactive or misapplied in current state and local procurement. Vendors evaluating this code should not pursue based on recent activity; the isolated opportunities present do not reflect a market for ecaussine or alabaster materials within state and local government agencies. Sourcing or materials procurement under this commodity appears either dormant, handled through different classification codes, or procured through mechanisms not captured in recent public solicitation data.
