UNSPSC 11101606: Nickel ore

UNSPSC 11101606 Nickel ore, a Commodity code, shows no relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The three most recent opportunities tagged to this code involve irrigation system construction (City of DeBary, Florida), structural steel and aluminum materials supply (City of Fort Worth, Texas), and law enforcement equipment cooperative purchasing (Sourcewell on behalf of Washington and Minnesota jurisdictions). None of these solicitations concern nickel ore extraction, processing, or supply. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being bought suggests that state and local procurement offices are either applying this code incorrectly to opportunities that belong in different families or that nickel ore itself does not see material procurement activity through state and local channels in the recent contracting environment.

Without traceable recent nickel ore solicitations in the state and local space, no geographic concentration, issuing-body pattern, or representative opportunity profile can be reliably characterized from available data. If your firm supplies nickel ore or nickel ore derivatives to state or local end-users, monitor whether future opportunities appear under this code or whether they migrate to related materials or commodity codes; the current record does not support active pursuit under UNSPSC 11101606 at this time.
