UNSPSC 10501600: Fresh cut chile greens

Chile greens that have been cut to provide contrast to flowers in various floral arrangements

UNSPSC 10501600 Fresh cut chile greens is a Class code that does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The six most recent opportunities posted under this code span landscape installation, invasive plant removal, interior plantings, and educational supplies catalog procurement — none of which involve fresh cut chile greens or culinary produce sourcing. The code shows no relevant recent activity; the opportunities reflect what appears to be a cataloging mismatch rather than actual procurement of fresh chile greens by state and local bodies.

The disconnect between the code's nominal scope and posted opportunities makes evaluation for pursuit impractical. No recent solicitations for fresh cut chile greens, produce supply contracts, or agricultural commodities aligned with the code's stated definition appear in the available records. Interested vendors should verify whether state and local procurement offices in their target jurisdictions use this code correctly or have migrated fresh produce sourcing to alternative UNSPSC classifications.
