UNSPSC 10452019: Dried cut phalaenopsis fimbriata orchid

Dried cut bloom of the fimbriata variety of phalaenopsis orchid

UNSPSC 10452019 Dried cut phalaenopsis fimbriata orchid is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity. The single recent opportunity posted under this code — Fulton County, Georgia's ITB 26ITB1652296A-KM for South Fulton Maintenance & Operational Demonstration Garden landscape services — solicits quarterly landscape maintenance including pruning, weeding, mulching, irrigation system management, and seasonal plantings across pollinator and rain gardens, with no component matching the orchid commodity itself. The scope of work centers on native grasses, trees, shrubs, and perennials rather than dried cut orchids.

Fulton County, Georgia issued the only recent opportunity identified under this code, with bids due November 30, 2026 and a pre-bid conference scheduled for November 4, 2026. A site visit is recommended for November 10 to assess the 0.95-acre demonstration garden. The contract runs through December 31, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals, and the county requires the contractor to employ a Georgia-licensed Landscape Architect on staff. The mismatch between the orchid commodity code and the actual work being solicited suggests either a tagging error in the source data or minimal genuine activity in this code within state and local procurement.
