UNSPSC 10431900: Dried cut spider chrysanthemums

Dried cut blooms of spider chrysanthemums

UNSPSC 10431900 Dried cut spider chrysanthemums is a Class code that shows no meaningful recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its stated scope. The two most recent opportunities tagged to this code—an RFP from Pinellas County, Florida for environmental planting, monitoring, and invasive plant removal services (Solicitation 250628RFP, due July 29, 2025), and a request for bids from Columbus Consolidated Government's Parks and Recreation Department for arts and craft and recreational supplies (RFB 26-0014, due February 25, 2026)—represent environmental management contracting and general recreation supplies procurement respectively, neither of which involves dried cut spider chrysanthemums or dried floral products of any kind.

The mismatch between the code's nominal product scope and the actual work being solicited suggests that either the tagging of these opportunities to the UNSPSC category is erroneous or the code does not reflect active state and local purchasing in this commodity. No geographic concentration, issuing-body pattern, or representative dried-floral procurement emerges from the available record. Firms pursuing state and local contracts in floral supplies, decorative botanicals, or related categories should verify coding accuracy in RFP/RFQ documents before investing in pursuit strategy, as this code's recent activity does not support business development targeting.
