UNSPSC 10426086: Dried cut ruscus

Dried cut blooms of ruscus flowers

UNSPSC 10426086 Dried cut ruscus is a Commodity code that nominally names a single dried plant product, but the recent state and local opportunities tagged under it bear no relation to the code's literal scope. The two posted solicitations — one for environmental planting, monitoring, and invasive plant removal services in Florida, and one for arts, crafts, and recreational supplies in Georgia — do not involve the procurement or specification of dried cut ruscus as a line item or material input. The code shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its commodity definition, and the posted records appear to reflect either miscoding at the issuing body or a taxonomy mismatch between how UNSPSC is applied locally and the work actually being solicited.

If pursuit under this code is under consideration, verify the actual commodity specification in any sourcing requirement or statement of work before investing in bid preparation. The nominal scope — dried preserved plant material typically used in floral arrangements or decorative applications — may be purchased by state and local bodies for landscaping, event services, or facilities management, but the recent opportunities do not document active demand for this specific product line at the state or local level as of mid-2026.
