UNSPSC 10426074: Dried cut white squill

Dried cut bloom of white squill flowers

UNSPSC 10426074 Dried cut white squill is a Commodity code that shows minimal relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code—one from Pinellas County for environmental planting and invasive species removal services, and another from Columbus Consolidated Government for arts and craft supplies—bear no substantive relationship to dried botanical materials or the squill plant category. The environmental services RFP involves native plant installation, wetland ecology, and regulatory monitoring across stormwater and surface water sites; the arts and craft solicitation seeks general recreational and educational supplies for parks and recreation departments. Neither opportunity involves procurement of dried plant material or squill products.

No state or local jurisdictions are currently soliciting dried cut white squill under this code based on the available recent-opportunity records. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being tagged to it suggests either a tagging error in the posting systems or that this particular Commodity sits outside active state and local procurement channels at present. Business development professionals should verify whether opportunities in this category are routinely posted under alternative UNSPSC codes or whether demand for this product exists in state and local procurement at all.
