UNSPSC 10426059: Dried cut nicotiana green

Dried cut bloom of nicotiana green flowers

UNSPSC 10426059 Dried cut nicotiana green is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities tagged under this code—an environmental planting and monitoring services contract from Pinellas County, Florida, and an arts and craft supplies procurement from Columbus Consolidated Government in Georgia—do not reflect the purchase of dried cut nicotiana (tobacco leaf) as a consumable product or material. The Pinellas County solicitation centers on invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and wetland restoration services across five years; the Columbus procurement seeks arts, craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for parks and recreation programs on an as-needed basis. Neither opportunity involves procurement of the nicotiana commodity itself.

State and local governments appear to use this code infrequently or misalign their tagging with the actual commodity scope. No recent bids, RFPs, RFQs, or ITBs for dried cut nicotiana green as a standalone material or supply line are evident in the available recent opportunities. Without demonstrated purchasing activity under this code, business development professionals should treat it as inactive for state and local procurement purposes.
