UNSPSC 10425102: Dried cut finger mimosa

Dried cut bloom of finger variety of mimosas

UNSPSC 10425102 Dried cut finger mimosa, a Commodity code, shows little relevant recent state and local activity. The code nominally describes a specific dried botanical product, but recent opportunities tagged under it do not align with this narrow scope. Pinellas County, Florida posted an RFP in June 2025 for environmental planting, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance services across wetlands, stormwater treatment ponds, and surface water conveyances — work involving native plant installation, invasive species removal, and ecological restoration rather than procurement of dried mimosa. Columbus Consolidated Government issued a request for bids in February 2026 for arts and craft, hobby, and recreational supplies for its Parks and Recreation Department, ranging from $30,000 to $50,000 annually, which bears no connection to the mimosa code.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being solicited suggests either tagging error on the part of the issuing bodies or that this code does not reflect a meaningful state and local procurement category in practice. No recent opportunities show state or local governments actually purchasing dried cut finger mimosa as a commodity. Without relevant solicitations, pursue of this code is not warranted at this time.
