UNSPSC 10424501: Dried cut green hellebore

Dried cut bloom of green variety of hellebores

UNSPSC 10424501 Dried cut green hellebore is a Commodity code that nominally describes a botanical product, but state and local procurement activity under this code does not reflect meaningful sourcing of the named item. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code involve environmental services (invasive plant removal, native plant installation, and ecological site monitoring) and arts and craft supplies procurement—neither of which involves dried cut green hellebore as a procurement target. The code appears to be a misclassification in the state and local systems that assign work to UNSPSC categories, and the solicitations do not represent authentic demand for the commodity named.

Pinellas County posted an RFP for Environmental Planting, Monitoring, Reporting and Maintenance Services (due July 29, 2025) seeking native plant installation and invasive species removal across wetlands and stormwater treatment sites, while Columbus Consolidated Government issued an IFB for arts and craft and hobby supplies to its Department of Parks and Recreation (due February 25, 2026). Neither opportunity involves procurement of dried cut hellebore or any dried botanical material. Without evidence of state or local jurisdictions actually purchasing dried cut green hellebore, this code shows no actionable activity for business development professionals sourcing this specific commodity.
